Hello,
in this submission I'd like to present one of my favourite churches: Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre (San Sepolcro) and the adhering Domenican Convent. The whole complex is located in one of the newest districts, on the other side of the river (I haven't yet invented a good name) and it's the only monastery located inside the city walls and probably one of the richest ones in the whole state.
The church or basilica, as You prefer, is a brick structure with facade and bell tower decorated with green and white marble (same as the cathedral) and the main insporation for this building was the church of Santa Maria Novella at Florence. The name of San Sepolcro, also shared with the square and a city gate located nearby, recalls the christian basilica at Jerusalem, because of a huge number of holy relics that are supposed to be kept here.
The Dominican Convent consists of several stone buildings (including a small part of the city walls), an old chapel, small decorated courtyard, tiny boathouse and a mountain grotto. Most of the convent's buildings are still not developed inside.
