Black Pearl from the "Pirates of the Caribbean"




Ship is scaled to be 1:1 with the original Black Pearl, the length of the ship is around 45-50 blocks.
I had to add 1 extra cannon to match minecraft proportions so unfortunately ship doesn't have 32 cannons as original, but 34.

Update 07.12.2023:

-World download has been updated, now the newest version of the pearl is in "City of a thousand waves" (Light version)
-Fixed schematics importing sideways

Thank you for all the support during making of this model.
It's been 2 years of upgrades after upgrades and now after all that time i can finally say that the pearl is fully finished.
Im probably going to quit Minecraft for now.

Update 23.05.2022:
Just like in the last update, i still wasn't satisfied with the current model and decided to work on it a bit more, this time reworking almost the entire ship.

-Main hull is now a bit bigger and has correct proportions underwater.
-Front side of the ship has been remodeled to match the original pearl a bit more.
-Back section is completely new, from roof to the hull beneath.
-New stripes around the ship
-Masts have been updated and the front one got changed again
-New cannons




Update 17.05.2022:
Last update of the ship left me unsatisfied, it felt unfinished, masts were too stiff and the back section wasn't correctly modeled
so i decided to change it one more time !

This new verison has a Polished blackstone walls as masts, each one of them is now separated, which helps erase the stifness.
Back section has now a roof made out of Waxed oxidized copper stairs.
All of the sails were updated and some of them got changed, specially the front ones.

Update 08.09.2021:

While looking at my latest project, i've noticed a slight dispropotion in the ship, it was very visible when i compared tilted version to original.
The one from the davy jones' locker was much better looking because tilting the model caused the back section to appear higher and it had also a much smoother mast as well as the entire front section.

I've tried to match the original pearl as much as possible to the tilted one in this update, by raising the enitre hull by 1 block and changing the back section accordingly.
Im planning to go back into this project and try once again to improve it.
Expect more updates soon.
