Hi everyone !

I'm finally releasing my v2 of the Epic Rocks Bundle, with textured rocks!

Click here to preview the bundle on Sketchfab! Thanks to SlyDower who uploaded it. (Untextured only)

This pack contains the World folder with 175 different rocks + the World Schematic, and all the Rocks in separated schematics !

A pre-made configuration for SchematicBrush is available in the file. The plug-in is also included.
Here is the original link of SchematicBrush : https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/schematicbrush

The different Sizes :

  • Huge Rocks
They are the biggest of all Rocks. There's actually 45 Huge Rocks.

  • Big Rocks
These Rocks are smaller than the Huge Rocks. There's actually 55 Big Rocks.

  • Small Rocks
The Small Rocks are the smallest Rocks in this bundle. There's actually 75 Small Rocks.

The different Styles :

  • Untextured Rocks
The classic stone-only rocks. Useful to make shapes or to make your own texture.

  • Brown Rocks
Some nice looking brown rocks. Theses are made with different brown blocks.

  • Grey Rocks
Have pretty much the same look that the Brown Rocks, but with grey shades. The grey rocks can fit in pretty much every environments.

  • Mossy Rocks
The mossy rocks are very realistic-looking green rocks, made with custom textures, with some leaves on it. Looks epic in a Jungle or Forest biome.

  • Desert Rocks
Theses rocks are arid and perfectly fit in a Desert or Mesa biome. You can find some Dead Bushs on them.

How to use SchematicBrush for the Epic Rocks Bundle :

1) First of all, go to plugins/WorldEdit in your server. If you don't have WorldEdit actually, install it now.
Then, you need to create a folder named "schematics" at this emplacement.

Now, go into this folder. You need to copy here all the schematics contained in the Epic Rocks Pack.

2)
After this, install SchematicBrush by coping the content of the "plugins" folder in the .zip file, into the "plugins" folder of your server. Then, restart your server.

If SchematicBrush is already installed to your server, you just have to copy/paste the sets from the config.yml in the .zip to your config.yml. It's better to manually create the sets in-game (//schset create <name>), and then copy/paste the different schematics into your config.yml.

3) Then connect to your server, and take 3 random tools in your inventory.

We're now going to apply one different brush on each 3 tools. These 3 brush correspond to the different sizes of the Rocks (Huge, Big, Small). You will be able to switch easily between the sizes so. To use brushs, you just need to right-click with the tool.

Here are the 3 configurable commands :

For the Huge Rocks : //schbr &HugeRocks -place:bottom -yoff:-5 -incair

For the Big Rocks : //schbr &BigRocks -place:bottom -yoff:-3 -incair

For the Small Rocks : //schbr &SmallRocks -place:bottom -yoff:-1 -incair

&(name) correspond to the names of the different Rocks sets. The & is to mention that is not a single schematic but a schematic set. Just add the name of the textured version before the size, to change the kind of Rock. Use //schset list.

-place:(placement) is to precise the placement of the schematic when you use the brush. CENTER place the center of the schematic on the targeted block, DROP place his lower block on the targeted block, and BOTTOM place from the lower non-air block.

-yoff:(parameter) is to set the offset of the schematic from the lowest placed block. -5, for exemple, will place the schematic 5 block lower.

-incair is to include or not the air blocks of the schematic. They are not included by default.

You can now play around with the Epic Rocks Bundle just by right-clicking on these three tools !

Don't hesitate to share me your creations with this bundle on Twitter ! I will probably post them with the others screens on PMC next :p

FAWE's //brush rock is giving you some competition though :P, I love the palettes on the rocks though, especially the mossy ones.

Thanks ;)

The FAWE's rock brush was based on the Epic Rocks Bundle, Empire collaborated a little bit with me to make it.
But the thing is that the rock brush have noisy edges when you put the roundness at 0 (0 to give an Epic Rocks Bundle look). So this brush is better for the round shapes.

Also, you have a schematic pack, so this is very useful for WorldPainter :)

Oh yeah, that's screenshots of a project that I made with PanchoElPro (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/kwelanga-cliffs-an-art-piece-from-nature-feat-panchoelpro/). He just loaded a tree bundle, so it's maybe a private one but I'm not sure. Try to ask him about the trees maybe.
Just what i needed, make more like this!

This makes me think, default Minecraft really should have random boulders like this occasionally scattered around. It would add some more atmosphere to the game.

Sure! This is one thing that should be added on the generation, who is actually very atmosphere-less.
