Introduction
Evergreen is part of my Dreamscapes series. This series features unique custom landscapes that can be enjoyed in both survival single and multi play.
The valley of Evergreen is surrounded by majestic snow capped mountains. Inside mountain ring lies the lush and vivid forest of ancient tree giants. The Mountains form natural border around the map, but nothing stops you from expanding your empire beyound the Evergreen valley. Vast lands that surround the valley are normal Minecraft generated terrain.
This is not an adventure map, or super hostile map, nor it is a puzzle quest with parkour challenges. And this is not a survival island themed map, where you need to survie with limited resources.
This is a custom landscape for Minecraft and it is ment to be played just like any randomly generated Minecraft map.
Features
Majestic mountain ring that surrounds the valley and serves as a natural border for the map and they blend the custom terrain seemlessly into the default Minecraft generated terrain.
Several giant trees. They could be described as "Elven" trees or "Pandora" trees.
Multi-colored grass!
Jungle like ground foliage.
Unique and beautiful jungle themed NPC village
Mysterious forgotten jungle temple
Performance
This map has a huge amount of leaf blocks, which are quite heavy for the engine to render. If you are having frame rate issues or hit by lag spikes with Far render distance, I suggest switching it into Normal. High resolution texturepacks can also be too much in this map, if your computer isn't up for the task.
I apoligize the possible need to adjust your graphic settings. I'm atleast 95% sure that the problem is the sheer amount of transparent leaf blocks, and there is quite little I can do about that without ruining the map. Very sorry. But I will continue to update this map and I try to find new ways to cut down the leafs without affecting the trees look too much.

Also, it seems that even though I spawned in survival mode, I don't seem to get hungry... Very odd.
Only thing I can think of why not getting hungry is that you are on peaceful.
