Version: 1.12.2
Resource Pack: Conquest Reforged
Mod/s: Little Tiles; Conquest Reforged
Shader: BSL
Schematic? Exclusively (Including the base construction map)
Architectural Style: Gothic, Classical, Romanesque 12th - 19th century Ecclesiastical (Usually adopting the Cruciform as their standard for Churches, Cathedrals, Abbeys, Chapels, Monasteries, and Minsters)
Additions: Performance addons
Food for thought:
It becomes clear that patience and creativity shares equal merit and mutual ends. Without it, a void determined by the end result will become apparent.
Short Description:
Never figured I would dabble with mods again, much less selective ones that challenge my patience on an incremental scale. Adding salt AND seasoning to your portion triumphs hence more!
Initially intended to be a vanilla construct with Conquest at the steering wheel, I simply decided to walk the extra mile with a mod that offers unyielding creative potential; Little Tiles.
Cousin to Chisel & Bits, underrated, and the conqueror of human patience, what better way to vent creativity when this gem appeals such resplendence.
I originally wanted to overhaul the entire structure with little tiles, but decided to focus on specific features to maintain Minecraft's original glory whilst occupying the structure with a spiced-up aesthetic and an anachronistic feel.
I derived the rose window and the surrounding glass elements from concepts that deserves to be wrought into a three-dimensional setting, so I constructed them according my own taste, and stored them for use inside an ender chest that functions as a repository for those who support my work.
An obelisk was erected as a timepiece instrument for those who use the shader's sun to determine a sensible time to venture. In terms of color palette; I tried to steer away from dark and monochromatic colors, and settled with gold, green, and lightly tinted stucco variants to displace an otherwise monotonous overview upon completion. I think everything culminated into a well-rounded cathedral that interweaves worship and beauty without radicalizing the scale.
Tip:
If you are, such as myself, in love with art and architecture, try to pay closer attention to your surroundings the next time you stroll down the streets, and observe the craftsmanship of human innovation that will inevitably instill inspiration. We are so bombarded with the constant hum and bustle of technology, we tend to ignore the most magnificent teacher of old; mother nature.
Quote, because why not:
"No rest, no meditation, no reflection, no conversation-the senses are continually overloaded with stimuli.
Man doesn't learn to question his world anymore; the screen offers him answers already made"

Since my latest build is utilizing Conquest Reforged, I'll move her up the line as a complimentary build. I also added guide posts for new builders that needs some resources before refining their craft. Peace, and much love!

Clearly it offers endless possibilities, so why not dive in haha. :]
So why not have at it when you have a couple of hours to spare? XD
So if I would get into crm again, what only works for me if I'm really into it because other wise I only search for blocks which isnt fun, I just dont have enough hours in a week.
So I just can't atm. xd
Who knows, you might be able to produce a masterpiece upon your return. XD
