Palais Castaire is the residence of the imperial family, lead by Emperor Stevecurious. The founding of the empire Castaire made need for a new, more representative residence than the old castle, where the Imperial Family originally lived. So the imperial architects were ordered to conceive a palace of unseen magnifience to fit for the Emperor of a world dominating realm. The construction lasted for 21 years, as the leading architects re-conceived some parts and wings caused by new architectural trends. In February 1742 AC, Palais Castaire was finally finished and is the residence for 19 years now.

Palais Castaire was built in the style of Castaire Supreme, which is characterized by an overwhelming amount of decorative elements. This style also shows an excessive usage of quartz blocks, which was an extremely rare material in the empire, because all the imperial workers had to get it from the dangerous hellworld, were Izeril, the dead angel, rules. The stone masons then garnished the raw blocks and chiseled them into the white pillars used everywhere in the palace.
