Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I entered the last project contest, all the way in September. I'm a bit rusty, but I hope you like the build I made! I know it's small, but I worked a long time on it, and had to start over many times. Anyway, here is the story!

Kumo no Shiro was a heaven above the clouds. Some might say it’s a getaway for the survivors, which is true. It’s a place for all the wealthy people to escape from the hell that’s on Earth. Only the wealthy people could afford to fly up into the clouds.

It’s 2054. Beast-like killing things have taken over the Earth, and started swallowing people up, and swelling up like balloons. No one knew where they came from, or how they could die. It was just like those fake “The world is ending” stuff that started in 2012 or whatever. They could destroy anything, which they did. The Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge all went down in a matter of days. No one could really get a good look at them. They were so scary and horrifying, no one even WANTED to. There was no escape from them, but one.

In 2055, a committee named the ACPA, which stood for Above the Clouds Protection Agency, had an idea. The only place where the monsters can’t go is up, so couldn’t civilization invent a device them took them there? After many days, the device was made, and all the wealthy people that could afford it few up to the clouds, leaving their home on earth forever. It was a lengthy trip, and no one knew what was going to be up above, so everyone felt anxious.

After 3 hours, they could make out the edge of the clouds. Everyone waited nervously to see what was above. Could it be a freakish hell where those monsters appeared even there? Or would it be a great paradise where they could live happily ever after? The ship rose over the clouds and the people could make out the home they would live in forever. There was a castle, a great white one, with many walls and four towers! The townspeople were joyous as they headed for the castle. Once they went in, however, the feeling became ecstatic. There was a beautiful town and many farms, 3 guard towers and a lake. Everything looked so beautiful, they wanted to stay there forever. Everyone got into their houses and unpacked. Everything seemed fine.

However, in 2064, the monsters mutated. What did they gain, you ask? Wings. And they were coming for the only people that they had missed, the Lucky Ones in the clouds.
