Another map, this time with inspiration from france/belgium. Map is supposed to be mid/late spring
I have decided I will from now on be making smaller maps. This is because the conversion from a height map .png to a .world usually mucks up the map quie a lot (in regards of the slope of the mountains). At a smaller map size you can get much taller maps (relativity) due to the fact that as you stretch a map out it remains at the same height. Hopefully this doesn't dissapoint anyone, as it actually means higher quality maps from me; ones that I can spend more time on

Season Overhaul : by nottreysongz 12/22/2015 1:50:14 pmDec 22nd, 2015
Wasn't satisfied with the map, tried something new:
- Added several tree species to the forest layer (updated tree pack); Alpine:3, Alpine:4, Alpine:5, Subalpine:2, Silverfir:1
- Painted savanna biome on an erosion map; made the rest a mix of extreme hills and taiga based on forest density
- Added small amounts of snow to resemble mid/late spring
- Added several new screenshots
- New download

Do you have a screenshot of the overhead view?
Good stuff! Keep it up
What texture pack do you use, I'd love to work with it, especially with the snowy trees :D
