This build is the result of first venturing to survive on Spectral's tempting entry in the Lost Island Terraforming Contest, "Is it even land:" https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/is-it-even-land/

…and then, yay! I obtained one birch sapling, a couple of seeds, and … I survived!!! … and mined all the way to the bottom of "is land???"!!! Got lots of cobblestone, and Minecraft heaven generously blessed my makeshift garden in the sea with mobs of sheep and chicken ducks!!!

Now what?!? Well, they needed a protective home, and I wanted a nicer garden, and … then, getting a bit carried away (trying out elements from the following mods--please make sure you credit Spectral and these appropriately if you use this build in a public setting!!!)…

…this spectatious (word? Yup, I think I just made up a new one because I'm making the most of my newbie-istic baby-steps…) result!!!


I've been running all the above in Minecraft version 1.8.9, so if you want to try loading this build and happen to have all of the above for that version, you should automatically have lots of beautifully grown garden plots and quite a few orchards ready to harvest.

If you load the file in vanilla Minecraft, I believe you will have lots of tilled gardening space and oak trees. If you load this in a different version of Minecraft … I hope it works.
