UPDATE 4/12/2021
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that this project has not died or been stopped! Progress has been massive, and I mean massive. The build now has the full World Financial Center and multiple buildings of Lower Manhattan. The next map update will hopefully be by the summer, once 1.17 is out and we can make all the buildings taller. I hope you can all remain patient!

Today marks the day where 18 years ago 2,977 people died in the biggest attack on American soil since the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941. September 11th, 2001 is a day that is permanently etched into every single Americans minds. Whether you were old, young, you will never forget the cowardliness that was shown by the 19 terrorists those days and the heroism shown by the firefighting personnel, the police officers, and the everyday Americans who got their co-workers out of the burning 110 story World Trade Center towers.
In my rendition of the Original World Trade Center in Minecraft, which has been in the works since February is still not complete. It will be soon. For now, you can explore the towers in one of the most accurate recreations to ever hit the Minecraft stage. You can view 'The Mall at the World Trade Center' as it was in 2001. You can view what you may have never seen.
Please keep all inappropriate comments about 9/11 and or jokes elsewhere. This build is supposed to remember the victims and heroes of that day. Please, just be mature and respectful.

INTERIOR GALORE!

- Both towers now have their full lobbies complete, including elevators, flower planters, carpeting and revolving doors, the flags of different nations based off of what was there IRL (probably the hardest bit I've done in the lobbies.), and more details!
- World Trade Center 4 has a full interior including elevator lobbies for each floor, accurate column placement, staircases and service elevators, restrooms and office spaces, the Gemelli restaurant and other retail locations.
- World Trade Center 3 (Marriott Hotel) now has it's full 2-story lobby complete including several ballrooms, furniture and lounge space, fountains and artwork, The Greenhouse Cafe, The American Harvest Rooms 1 & 2, as well as the business center and other rentable spaces.
- World Trade Center 5 has some slight lobby complete but needs more work.
- World Trade Center 6 has had it's lobby started but is mostly uncomplete.
- The Mall at the World Trade Center has every single storefront in place, including accurate signage, door placements, and lighting. The interiors of these stores will be added overtime. It'll take the longest as I get pictures of different stores and make 100% accurate interiors. Some stores that will have full accurate interiors by the release of the first download will be but are not limited too: Ecce Panis, J. Crew, Pastabreak, Fine & Schapiro Deli, Sbarro, Hale and Hearty Soups, Warner Bro's Studio Store, Au Bon Pain, Express, Sam Goody, and more!
- World Trade Center 7 is currently not built and will most likely not be there for the first download, but unless our texture pack updates then it may be started!
- The World Financial Center will be started at a later date.

I have downloaded the map multiple times and it is still there
All you have to do is download the file, extract the world save into your saves file for minecraft, and launch the game!
