Hello all! It's been a minute.

I'm happy to upload this map, entitled 'Outpost Borealis.' I found a few inspiring images from Pintrest and decided they would look good if mixed together in some places. This was for the Minecraft Discord 'Fortnightly Building Challenge.'

This one was one of my first where I was super proud of how the terrain turned out, I had never made one this good. I had been looking forward to using the fractal design from WorldPainter to see the ice cracking on the surface.

From the plains, you can see walls at the base of the mountain - encasing a dark ruined castle. Who knows what dark secrets could be held beneath the ice? Inside, you'll see ice caverns, dug deeply by erosion and illuminated by natural light.

I know I could have done a lot more with this map - but as the time limit was two weeks, I could only put so much time in as a graduating senior in college. I had tons of fun making it though, and will use techniques from this map in future builds.
