ABOUT

This is a 1-to-1 scale recreation of Valve's first Portal game.

Each room was meticulously measured from the original game and built by hand both to look and play as much like Valve's Portal as possible. Some small changes were made to preserve the playability of the levels in Minecraft.

REQUIRED MODS

INSTALL ALL OF THESE!!
They are very easy to install, and if you have any trouble, look at using the Magic Launcher, which is what I use to run Minecraft with mods.


When playing this map, make sure to use the custom texture pack, which is included in the map download above.
It is a modified version of Carlotta4th's Precisely Portal texture pack, which can be found here.

RULES
  • Don't break any blocks
  • No sprinting (Chell couldn't do it, neither can you)


SUGGESTIONS
  • Set your Difficulty to "Peaceful" (under Options)
  • Set your Brightness to "Bright" (under Video Settings)
If you are having trouble with lag on this map:
  • Set your View Distance to "Short" or "Tiny" (under Video Settings)
  • Set your Graphics to "Fast" (under Video Settings)
If you are having trouble with graphics appearing incorrectly on this map:
  • Uninstall Optifine, if you have it installed

This map was made for Minecraft 1.2.5. It won't work on older or newer versions.

Added checkpoint blocks to every test chamber so far

Updated the map to support 1.2.5v1 of iChun's Portal Gun mod
Used WorldEdit to correct minor spacing problems in previous levels

Chamber 18 is done. I am waiting for a solid version of the Portal Gun mod to come out for the lastest Minecraft version before I release it. I'm spending my time until that happens debugging and testing it.

My map can't be incompatible with Forge, it's a map. I'm guessing you probably installed one of the mods wrong.

is that Ichuns potal mod the same as portal gun because im searching 4 portal gun maps but i cant find nothing

I think so, if I understand you correctly. The link in the above post leads you to the mod that you need to install, you shouldn't need to search for it.

another thing i dont actually have to download all of them a or do i cause i only hav portal mod and i can fly using spcomands up the elevators
