The Ivan Rogov class, the Soviet designation of Project 1174 "Rhinoceros" ("Rhinoceros") is a class of amphibious assault ships (a large amphibious ship according to the Soviet classification) built in the Soviet Union. The ships were built as part of the expansion of the capabilities of the Soviet Navy to conduct amphibious operations in the 1970s.

Project 1174 has both a bow ramp and a well deck; it can operate both LST and LPD. A typical load is one battalion of 520 Marines and 25 tanks. It is possible to transport up to 53 tanks or 80 armored personnel carriers if the well platform is used for ground parking of vehicles. In total, 2,500 tons of cargo can be transported.

Большой Десантный Корабль (БДК) проекта 1174 "Носорог". Всего было построено три корабля - Иван Рогов (НАТОвцы взяли его как название целого класса), Митрофан Москаленко и Александр Николаев. После 90-ых и десятилетия простоя (а для океанских кораблей это очень губительно) стало ясно, что ремонт и модернизация будут стоить как постройка нового корабля. Сейчас они находятся в процессе утилизации (самый первый уже давно распилен) и постепенно заменяются новым проектом универсальных десантных кораблей 23900. Их ввод в строй ожидается к 2028-2029 году.
