The build : This 104 meters tall tower is the third and currently the last skyscraper I've built. It was to be a player base on a survival server but has sadly never been finished. It shows the unique red & grey style I've learnt to use over the years in one of it's earliest stage. The style I use nowadays is practically the same than the tower, it's just a bit more sophistacated and complex.

Date : According to screenshots and some signs, construction began the 24th October 2014 and stopped during the late January or the early February 2015.

History : Decemeber 2014, I was then living in my Futuristic Residence on the survival server I used to play on. As I got a bit bored of it, I decided to build always larger and taller. This is why I've constructed this more than twice as tall tower. When the exterior was done, I began the interior, but I was far less inspired for this part. Therefore, the construction got really slowed down. Before I even had the time to go past the ground floor, the server got reset and all I've kept from my build was a .schematic from the original server map, just like my Futuristic Residence. Since then, a very little progress has been done on the first floor but the interior will remain unfinished, apparently forever ...

The next step, the next level : Building this has been an important experiment. The skyscraper was a real style research which got me started with the red and grey building style. Now as you may see, the tower is quite repetitive, it uses the same wall design all around a floor. So here's the next step, I'm currently building something more than twice as huge than this is, but using the same style (and it's not a skyscraper). The same style with 1 and a half supplemental year of training, and indeed my current project is much more wow than the red skyscraper.

My review : For long I've deemed this to be my best build. This until my current construction (I'll reveal it a day, don't worry), which I consider now as being my "new best build ever". So what about this ? I could say the red skyscraper is about 80% or 85% of my current building skills. The problem with that build is, as I've said above, it uses the same pattern for an entire floor (and that's what my mate told on the server as well). The corner of the build suffers of the same issue, it does not vary that much excepted the top part which extends as an arch. However it's still damn impressive when seen from far away, see how small does my 43 meters tall green and white tower look next to it.
