Do you mean the red and black paint? I made it that way to show how the Torii heals as time goes by, but yea it may bother some people as it is not centered.
My intention is to show that there is no definite division between the past and the present, that's why you can also notice the walkways in the present time also covered in ashes, while the Torii in the past has smudges of red and black paint as if it wants to cover the whole Torii overtime. Though you can interpret it in many ways. For example: as a sign of hope, but that's just my way of making an excuse hahahahaha
