Welcome to one of the most accurate recreations of the city of Rome in Minecraft. It is shown as it may appear at the time of the reign of Valentinian III (5th Century AD). The scale we are following is 1 block:1 meter.
It has been built by a friend of mine (Heraclius) and me, since June 2012, using Minarecraftorum resourcepack, created by me.

If you're using Minecraft 1.10.2, it should work.
Provided 'format_version' element has an invalid value in pack manifest.

I am also having a bear of a time getting the map to load in Windows 10 for some reason. We just got a set of 5 VR headsets from HP that I would love to have for kids to walk around Rome.
Also thanks so much for checking in and giving the link. I am just amazed at the scope of your work while I have been walking through the streets creating the Vanilla version. If you would like me/allow me to I would love to post that file when I get it done, I know I'll have missed some areas, but I have about 65% done so far, just using code connect and a replace block script as I fly/walk through.
