I had an idea in my head: What if you play in an almost completely decayed castle, surrounded by broken walls, bushes and trees?
With this idea I started building one Ruin, a map that I believe is
my best map so far. It gives a lot of tactical opportunities with the
castle in the middle, two paths going either side of it, buildings and
broken walls on the outsides of the map and a complete underground
passage that leads throughout the map.
When creating a defensed position, you not only have to pay attention
of what may come from the front, but also what may come from behind
you. You have to keep an eye on the exits of the underground pathways
otherwise you will die. And if you choose to stay underground, you
indeed have cover, but expect to be attacked from all directions.
The castle in the middle gives a center point that, when occupied, gives a giant tactical advantage over the battlefield.
"It is a castle that has decayed. Not much left of it. But you have a
lot of paths you may choose to reach you destination and a lot of
flanking opportunities. The most tactical and organized team will
probably always win in this map, that is why I love it," says Duncan
while explaining the features of this map to his friends.

I do have one complaint, which is common to almost every castle-build on PMC, and that's the lack of a well. The well is probably the most important part of any fortress (strong walls don't help much if the defenders are all dead of thirst). Maybe add a ruined well to your ruined fort?
inside one sound logical and like a good idea, and the bushes. I kinda
forgot I could use something like that. I'll try and see if I can at
some. Myabe it will even make it look a lot better
Okay, I have made the well for inside the fortress (pictures are added now), and I've tried playing around with bushes and vines, but the vines only worked within the well (also, you need them to get back up), but outside of that I believe it becomes too green and I didn't really like that.
Also, thanks for the compliments :D
