PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAN ON HOSTING A SERVER WITH THIS: At the end of the post is a list of suggestions I've made to help this map play up to its full potential.
This is the first in a series of I don't know how many PvP maps, made for Minecraft. These are not exact replicas of maps from CoD, Halo, Battlefield, etc, rather, inspired by them and made into my own image.
Shipyard is the first map. Located on the Eastern USA coast, this map is a boardwalk with concessions stalls, a small harbor, and even a lighthouse. There's also a way to get under the boardwalk and go into the water. Now I will go into details on certain locations.
Lighthouse- Located on a very rough terrain island, if you can get to the top you hold a major strategic point, as you can see a vast majority of the map, even under the boardwalk a bit.
Docked Boat- A small recreational boat. It is very vulnerable, as it can be accessed from three directions, including from the water. Getting to the roof of the boat provides clear mid-range coverage of the boardwalk and the on-water bridge.
Boardwalk- The boardwalk contains many stalls, a great place to hide in and ambush an opponent. A very open area, but just be sure to watch out as it has no railings.
Sub-Boardwalk Area- Safe from snipers, the sub-boardwalk area allows for sneaking behind the enemy lines. There are many ways the go from on top of the boardwalk to under, including jumping in the water.
This map is over all a mid- to long-range map. CQCers should beware of snipers.
RULES (Also included in spawn rooms):
1. No breaking/placing any blocks.
2 .No outside items, only use the items the load outs have to offer.
3. Only take one load out per life, ie no taking two different ones or more than what you are allotted to take from one.
4. Helmets are used to identify the teams. Gold team has Golden Helmets, silver team has Chainmail Helmets. No putting on the other team's helmet.
5. Admins may make up any other rules they think I missed, or that they just want to add.
Suggestions for host:
1. Use an anti-greif plugin! You should probably have one in already, but if not, get one!
2. Customize the five load outs! I left them empty on purpose, so that you can decide what to put in them! I suggest using splash potions of damage as grenades, as well as healing potions, and use a variety of armor and weapons, except for the helmet which is used to identify who is on what team. Speaking of helmets, make sure you've got enough to last through at least 10 minutes!
3. Use inventory check commands to make sure no one is cheating! Clearing their inventories also works, but that's kinda harsh.
Please, if anybody uses this, show me to your server! I'd love to get a live-action game play of it and see what people have to say about it. It will most likely be filmed and put up on my YouTube, and will be featured on here. Don't worry, you will absolutely get credit.

Additional Notes
Two more map ideas are in my head, and will be built eventually. Not revealing too much yet, but stay tuned and you might find out some info.4 Update Logs
