Forest of Death is the third location in the Anomalous Zone X-50 from "Story of General Schtormand or Triumph of Evil". Forest of Death is a most dangerous and deadly location of Anomalous Zone.

Before the incident in the Military Laboratory Y-12, as a result of which an Anomalous Zone was formed.This forest used to be a nature reserve, but everything changed after that incident. The reserve was located next to the Laboratory and therefore, after the incident, this forest absorbed a large amount of anomalous energy.
Subsequently, the forest became a real nightmare, scientific expeditions always ended in tragedy, and rare survivors reported super-powerful monsters that appeared from underground and attacked expedition.
At the moment, scientists know that artifacts in the shape of prickles or a sea urchin are formed in this forest. However, scientists do not know anything about the properties of these artifacts and are not aware of anomalies in this forest, but leading scientists and researchers of the Anomalous Zone X-50 believe that the Forest of Death is one big anomaly.
