~The Sunrise Cathedral~

This project is truly a journey and I love seeing it unfold before me like an amazing story. I have been very careful and precise about this project; trying to get every detail right. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I have.

The sun barely peeks over the Mountains of green as I walk the well-trodden path. My mind searches and my heart feels uneasy. The path before me curves and winds around hills and valleys. My feet grow tired and I think to myself that it is about time to take a rest. Then, before me a monumental sight greets my eyes. It stretches out of the ground like a great tree; sturdy and yet beautiful. Its towers gleam in the sunrise light and I catch glimpses of gold within reflecting windows. A river is near, and the water is pure and clean. I see gems sparkling as I draw near. My legs begin to shake and I can no longer move. I grab my face as I watch the eternally strong. It stares at me whispering, "Come now little one. Do not be afraid. Your journey is now at an end." It draws me closer and closer and I begin to weep tears of joy. I am finally at peace.

I can honestly say that this map has been an ongoing project for the past few months. I've really focused on getting every detail right. I probably built this cathedral a total of five times. However, I am finally happy with it! This cathedral was built in three phases: the outside, inside, and world.

Much of my inspiration for this cathedral has come from Madnes64. He has really inspired me in my building to try to reach higher and I hope to someday build something which is half of what he is capable of. Also, thanks to the people on my server for helping with a few monotonous tasks along the way; especially a lot of the inside decor.

Very nice. The cover pic is simple, and that's very nice. It is not overdone and is to the point: A sunrise, referring to the name, which is nice. The build has a nice shape too.
