Build Description:

Considering modern architecture as a walk in the park is a no brainer really. Despite being among the giants of human innovation, its structural basis doesn't really require hundreds of hours to perfect, even with a small to modest scale in terms of Minecraft. However so, a mismatched palette selection and an exaggeration of habitual angles can just as easily produce a confusing array of colors that shrouds the build in obscurity, defeating its purpose and dulling its radiance.
This simply means that modern builds can visually suffer a great deal when your creative steering wheel starts to jerk when you're about to move outside of the traditional black and whites. Grays and terracotta variations infused with woods doesn't exactly qualify as anything original. However, combining it in a visually cohesive manner does produce promising results when you befriend patience.
It should be noted that this is not a conveyance proclaiming mastery, nor the implication of drawing parallel lines with actual architects who carry different opinions regarding palette and structural layout. It's simply, as it always were, my take on how I drive my opinions home, which can appear selective at time. Just thought it would be a pertinent point to make, considering that some of us are waaaaaay too formal in our mental approach. It's Minecraft, not a military operation with a sniper at point. Have some fun lol.

Proceeding; although I aimed for a couple of pronounced diagonals, as the build progressed, I noticed that the angular diversion tangent to the square face were too much of a distraction, so I leveled it out by complementing the predominant squares with rectangular verticals and a roof lip in certain areas that added a neat pop, amplified by parallax.
Already mentioned, my color selection aren't really something new, I've seen the play between paneling and stone finished with a level of skill that can't escape the title of beauty. Having leaned from it, I formulated my own selection of which concretes and woods were grafted with sandstone (quartz for the vanilla version) and colorful flooring that makes it an integral part of the overall atmosphere.
An overhang pool were considered, but replaced with a geo-base with the seated pool facing the sea and the adjacent village. I refrained from overhauling the village, which would have destroyed the contrast between the main feature and their houses, so I kept the village domiciles generic to emphasize your prominence.

Interiors aren't really as excessive as my previous builds, preferring compact spaces over extensive hallways and large rooms. I also separated the upper floor from the lower floor with an outside staircase instead of the usual internal freedom between two layers, nudging you to frequent the upper floor for an advantageous vantage point while soaking in some fresh air.
A small basement-level grow room were dug out with a storage attachment that will accompany you on your journey. Figured it would be of great assistance to you before departing towards unknown lands.

Originally intended for FlowsHD exclusively, I've spend a couple of hours finding a sweet spot for a vanilla version by changing my block selection, and implementing a couple of solid replacements that simply did not work for vanilla as a raw side by side when the texture pack were removed for its vanilla makeover. All and all, I think both versions came out as a desirable result fit for a survival journeyman. Her composition entails-

Build Composition:

- 3 Bedrooms
- Kitchen
- Restroom
- Living room
- Dining Area
- TV room
- Hangout
- 2 Swimming pools
- Vantage points via balcony
- Connected vanilla village
- Small aquarium
- Small pond
- Underground farming area
- Storage room
- Vanilla an Texture pack version for preference
- And a massive survival world true to the vanilla experience

Quote, because why not:

"Don't sit down and wait for the opportunities to come. Get up and make them."
