I modeled the dome in blender, converted it into a minecraft schematic using objtoschematic.com, and then pasted it into minecraft with the mod Axiom.

if you don't mind me asking, how did you build the dome shape? i would love to build one for my base but the one you made is extremely big

I built the dome using the geodesic domes addon in blender and started with a hexagonal icosahedron as the base shape. After adjusting the model in blender, I converted it into a minecraft schematic using objtoschematic.com. Then I imported it into minecraft with axiom and replaced the blocks.
The result is definitely not perfect, but I am happy with how it turned out. Not completely sure how well this method works for smaller domes though.

On java there is a mod called "minihud" that you can create an overlay of differnt shapes. You can do a sphere giving it any size you want, in any location you want. It doesn't place any blocks for you, just a visible "hologram" you can follow to place the blocks yourself. It has way more features like light level indicators for spawnproofing, etc..
