This is an air warship for use with the Movecraft plugin. Unlike my other ships, this is not very well armed, and not all of the weapons work. But if you watch the series, this fits in with the purpose of the ship.
Background:
The Black Magic was originally the HMA Vociferous, an old Royal Navy Behemoth class command ship from before the War of Acquisition. When war broke out the Royal Navy quickly realized their warships were woefully inadequate to the task of defeating the massed swarms of fighter aircraft the Silver Empire used. Several experiemental modifications of the Behemoth class command ships were attempted to make them relevant on the battlefield. The Vociferous was slated to have it's anti aircraft armament increased and it's main cannons replaced with torpedos, including a central torpedo turret on the belly of the huge warship. However, during the modification process the ship was reported lost with all hands while performing trials.
The incident was blamed on a Silver Empire raid, but In reality, the ship was stolen by Duke Dougal and those loyal to him. Over the next year and a half, the ship was modified with several of Duke Dougal's inventions that stemmed from his research into the purpose and design of the world. One was a detection shield that encircles the midsection of the ship. However the most important was the Life Creation Engine Torpedos. The LCET could activate the existing machinery inherant in the world in a localised area, the effect being to infest a target ship with hostile creatures to eliminate the ships crew. This was used to devestating effect several times during Duke Dougal's bid to bring about the Second Age of Darkness, allowing the capture of a Destroyer, and later the Goliath itself. However, other than this the ship was still poorly armed, particularly in comparison to the late-war designs of the Royal Navy and South Haven. If subtlety failed, the Black Magic had little else to fall back on.
Armament
1 x LCET Launcher
4 x Torpedo Tubes
