Since the server with my current project has been down, I've decided to start up an SSP project that doesn't require the internet for me to work on. I'll probably be working on it on and off when I'm not able to access my other projects.
The idea is to create a large glass dome, in which will be glass spheres of various sizes hanging down. There will be walkways and such, allowing the player to enter the spheres - I am also hoping to have some sort of water feature/features, as I am thinking that the floor will be water.
As far as mods go, I used MCEdit to create a large flat area ONLY. I have also of course used flying and InvEdit mods, but all blocks were placed by hand (if I didn't use those two, the project might just take more than a year to find all that iron).

Additional Notes
Eventually I will move the entire dome under water.Credit | Thanks to TrynePlauge for the inspiration to build something more design-based (and on a larger scale =P ). |

Update #4 : by Sir Augwich 03/21/2011 10:00:54 pmMar 21st, 2011
The second level (first balcony) has been completed, along with the stairs up to it. Some small editing has also been performed on the main floor, including the addition of plants.
Now I think it's time to finish up the outer dome and maybe start on some of the spheres!
