I have nicknamed this "A year quietly in the making." I have done all of this alone and by hand.
The images will come, I promise you, but please read the following information on this monstrous project.

For nearly the past year, I have worked on the creation of a map so massive, so elaborate, and so interesting, that it would serve as a place for people to have an almost never ending amount of fun.

This map is  4GB+ in size, and that's just the save folder. It makes use of 12+Mods to make it work right.  It is still glitchy, but has come along quite well.  It is still very rough in some places, which will need some alterations to make it look better.

Please note, the main map that i'll be uploading will not be the final product, but more final product of a long process. It'll eventually be reconfigured to be far more well organized and put together.

-Demo of Valandus Zip (This is literally just a cut out of a small residential/commercial area.)
-Mods Folder with Mods inside (They are all essential, if you do not add them, the map will be missing parts.)
-Resource Pack (If you do not use this, than the game will come off as looking odd.

There is a large sprawling City , surrounded by bodies of water, and then for miles, never ending Hive City structure.  The very Center is Valandus, the Capital.  In "The End" there are ships and space stations, plenty of them. Further, hanging over Valandus and elsewhere, are fleet of Air & Space ships. Some are Warhammer 40k, some are Battle Star Galactica, etc. Many of these ships are connected by a system of Air-Hubs which in some places are connected to the ground.  Directly under Valandus is the original Valandus that i'd created while still a newbie to the game, lol.  If you find the two towers in te under ground, and then look for htem above ground in teh heart of the Capital region, you'll see the differences are huge. Lol.

Furthermore, I have created portions of this map with MCEdit, in the 1.7.10 version. That said,  I have cut out pieces of other peoples maps, time and again, if I felt it would fit nicely somewhere. Therefore, to those pieces that are visible within my Map, that the creator can accurately identify and offer proof of their creation, and requests their citation, i'll also be creating a small map area that will be at the heart of the Central Hive City called "Valandus Hive" in the region called "Segmentum Solar." (Yes, there is Warhammer 40k References and ships within the game.) In order to be placed on this, I ask that the creator please take a screen cap of the structure(s), attach it to a PM with their name, and it shall thusly be added.


Also, if anyone would like me to pu their works inside of this one, please let me know via PM. I'll see what I can do.

When I am done I will leave the map as an open Download. However, I am also considering creating a server, so as to do this kinda thing along with others.
