im like the worst modern builder on here xD but my tips would be to make a floor layout like where your rooms are gonna be and stuff before you build then build the outside for that i just go random Till i like it, xD i recommend looking online for some modern house pictures in real life and get inspiration from them also look at http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/mrfruittree/ Hes got some extremely nice houses !!! i hope this helped and i know its mega late 23 days sence you commented xD
