VAZ LADA-2103

VAZ-2103 "Zhiguli" (export name Lada 1300s) is a Soviet sedan class car created on the basis of VAZ-2101 "Kopeyka".

It so happened that 2103 turned out to be a joint development of FIAT and VAZ, on which they tried in every possible way to preserve the unification of the new model with the already produced "Kopeyka". So the design was constantly coordinated, as a result of which we got the VAZ-2103, and in Italy the FIAT 124S — Speciale version went on the road.

The status of the owner of the Lada was immediately indicated by the abundance of chrome in the finish, dual optics and a completely new dashboard with separate scales, noble wood trim and a place for a radio receiver. It's no joke, the cost of the novelty towered one and a half times over the basic "Kopeyka". And it was because of what. She not only looked more dynamic, but also drove really faster: up to a hundred in 19 seconds, and the maximum speed of 150 km/h was not even dreamed of by the Volga.

The car was produced from 1972 to 1984, and a total of 1,304,899 cars were assembled. The millionth car is now in the AvtoVAZ Museum in Tolyatti.
