This server is a role play server that is steampunk-themed, and based in the Victorian era. We have a friendly staff and still have spots for staff. please apply to get in at aevumvapore.forumotion.com/ , or on this page. preferably on the forums though. basic server info for application form and roleplaying purposes:

Human- The most powerful and sophisticated race.
Dwarf- Hardy cave dwellers known for their strength and fascination with minerals.
Gremlin- Tricky goblins who excel at building machinery and making jokes.
Mecha- Machines who have gained intelligence. Not liked by most, but make great workers.

Union of Socialist Gremlin Republics- Communist nation that was once a proud group until a corrupt dictator rose to power.
Mecha Liberation Front- A small group of Mechas who wish for freedom.
Cult of Serguza- Worshipers of the demon Serguza, and a threat to all that is pure.
Rogue's Gallery- Guild of thieves, assassins, pirates, and highwaymen.

Pantheon-n The world is ruled by a group of human and dwarven gods, their enemy isn the demon lord Serguza. The righteous spend the afterlife in the Hall nof Heroes, and the wicked are banished to the Nether.
Shamanism- nWorld is ruled by nature spirits, good and bad, that were once alive. nVarious rituals are used to ward off evil, and ensure your placement namong the good spirits.
Atheism- There are no gods, spirits, or afterlife. Demons are simply alien beings. Science is the path to greatness.
Serguzan Cultism- Worship demons of the Nether, mostly Serguza. To serve the ndarkness and be sent to the Nether are the aspirations of all cultists.

Roleplay Experience: Verry little almost none. I am writing a story about steampunk and often roleplay to see how the characters would act.
Why you: because I am into Steampunk and i want an adventure that has a story but I am the character i want and the story is based around my choices.

Personality: A reserved mecha but has is potent and deadly. A trained fighter but also cold and calculating, quite intelegent.
Back story: I started as a standard Mecha, a standard library clerk designed to perform various duties such as organizing. The library was upgraded and they decided to get a newer model of mecha that could perform various tasks. I was taken away and was going to be melted down.
In my years of working at the library i had learned various information and learned a lot ablut engineering. When i was in the line up for the melting down i met a poor boy and taught that boy what i knew. The boy was a thief and one time he was caught stealing from a soldier and he was brought before the general of the human army and he was put to death.
I after his death i resolved that humans, dwarves, and gremlins were evil and i struck out. I fought my way out of the storage chambers for mechas to be melted and i escaped. I soon saw the error in my ideas, not all of the other races were bad, just most of them or the people with too much power. THus i joined a lesgue of people who helfd similar ideas to me the Rogue's Gallery.

Personality: somewhat paranoid, has a hard time sharing ores and such with others, always trying to keep people happy, somewhat destructive, may go crazy if provoked.
Backstory: Animatronic Steam Driven Underground Operation Robot (or A.S.D.U.O.R for short) was created by a very small group of bandits that needed a mining robot. The bandits used parts of mechas they killed over time to build him. But the memory files was corrupted, and gave A.S.D.U.O.R an artificial intelligence. A.S.D.U.O.R managed to escape from the bandits through a cave.
The cave he escaped through lead to a small valley, where he managed to spot a outpost not Too far away. He ventured towards the outpost, and when he arrived he noticed that the outpost belonged to the mecha liberation front. He followed them back to their main city and was accepted into society.
He was forced to flee for seven years until he found Rogue's Gallery. The Galloery was the only place that would take him in after all, there were stories all those years.
Some search for him. One of which being the lawenforcement, his two brothers, and bounty hunter.
Maybe those tales are true. Then again, maybe not. But this is certain, there was a body, a murder, and an assasin.

Backstory: Born into poverty, Birend was a lonely boy. wilemost dwarves loved rocks were generally happy folk, he hated caves and never got the chance to be happy. he was an ugly child, with a nose bigger than an eggplant. he had only two friends, of witch he eventually had to kill when they almost got him arrested for stealing. oh, and did i mention that his parents rased him a theif? in the dirtiest slums of the poorest city in the Dwarven Empire, his old and crippled perents needed for there only child to provide food and clothes.
at age 18, Birend had longsince killed his father and his mother passed away off old age. He knew he couldnot remain in his hide out much longer. did i also forget to mention his house was burnt to a crisp by a few of his "enenmies" not to long before? he used this as an oppertunity to escape wile the guards were investigating. he fled to the surface and found himself with the rogues gallery only after a month on the surface. he found it best to change his name. He chose Biishiip soley 'cause it sounded cool, and it stuck ever since.

Backstory: In his youth Ulfgar was a reckless young engineer experimenting with new explosives and machines, but during a fatal aciddent he killed two other senior enginers. Banished fro his home and striped of the clan name Ulfgar was cast out of the Dwarf Empire wandering alone he set up a small shack and found friends in the Rogue's Gallery. While not completely allied with them he is more on their side than any other.
Still experimenting he seeks ways to get his revenge on his family for so heartlessly casting his to the shadows. Having leart from his mistakes he now builds and tests his machines gaining supplies through the Gallery. Prefering the solidarity of his workshop, he isn't the most friendly character.

backstory: he was a pickpocket by child even though he came from a rich background at the age of 12 he was robbed and devoted his life to study and not stealing and so for several years he spent all of his time to reading in silence at the age of 16 he went to train as a worrior and to try and take his revenge on who robbed him.
he suceeded in becoming a knight but didnt like taking orders so he quit being a squire and became a robber who robbed on the highways. he would spend most of his time reading and robbing while still hunting those who robbed him. at the age of 18 he found those who robbed him and killed them and continued being a highwayman

Why you: this is the most straightforward titled roleplay about one of my favorite genres, and from the looks of it, it's the best built one.

Personality: not very sociable, hardly ever speaks, and usually writes on paper when he wants to communicate.
Backstory:
Edgar was born an Englishman, but upon his 5th birthday, his parents ran from a gang of con-men to Germany. Encumbered by his British accent, he preferred to write notes in German instead of vocally communicate with his new neighbors, this stuck with him for perhaps the rest of his life, and he prefers to write notes even back in England. When he was at the age of 10, the sturdy young man was taught the ways of carpentry and engineering (crafting and using most tools). Then, as he came to the age of 14, things took a turn for the worst.
Edgar was forced into hiding after his parents died; one of the vicious con-men had hacked them with an axe, and then left the axe with him. He was accused of a murder he didn't commit, and then a crazed bounty hunter, ironically nicknamed "Slash" was determined to bring the death-sentenced Edgar in to the authorities. Slash attacked Edgar with a diamond sword, losing Cogsworth his left hand, and Edgar was forced to use the hatchet and succumb to the horrendous rumors and accusations, Forever. Slash was not recognizable, and Edgar's left hand is now a robotic hand that responds to his tendons.
