🎄 The Jolly Update - December 2023 🎅

Monthly Wipe:

Resource, Nether, and End worlds have been reset!

Holiday Cheer:

Spawn has a new seasonal look!
New server-sided seasonal textures!
Removed the chance of Herobrine and other cryptids spawning during the holiday season.

General Updates:

  • Discord to Mc chat improvements.
  • More sophisticated anticheat.
  • Allowed certain Slimefun items, including backpacks, in spawn.
  • Towny Quarters! - Link to Quarters Wiki
  • Removed False Clickspam kicks for Bedrock.
  • Fixed beacon kicks (I think???) :thinking:
  • Fixed broken level tags in the menu.
  • Improved Crate Odds.
  • Updated NPC Skins & Holograms & Menus.
  • You can now trade money & exp in /trade.
  • Brewery hangovers were removed, and eating/drinking to remove drunkenness is more effective.
  • What am I looking at? Type /wt.
  • Removed some outdated / unused resources.
  • Other miscellaneous changes.

Rank Changes:

  • Much better rank armor textures (shields are still a WIP).
  • Added all rank armors as craftable recipes for all material type counterparts.
  • All rank tools and swords are available in /toolskins.
  • Different private vault tiers for each rank /vault.
  • Duke / Duchess ranks now have Night Vision command /nv.
  • Greatly improved all weekly rank kits.
  • Rank armors now have proper durability and protections depending on material types.
  • /tfly for Paladin Rank.
  • /cartographytable for Knight / Dame Rank.
  • /book for Lord / Lady Rank.
  • Chunkloaders for King / Queen Ranks (requires staff to set up).
  • Each rank now has an increased view distance.

Fall is Apoun Our Minecraft Towny Earth Server

New Fall Textures:
The season of autumn has arrived, and we've embraced the beauty of fall with new textures that will immerse you in the spirit of the season.

Mountable Creatures:
You can now ride a variety of creatures, turning your exploration into an epic adventure. These mounts include Ender Dragons (not controllable), Cows, Dolphins, Goats, Hoglins, Llamas, Guardians, Pandas, Polar Bears, Pigs (without a saddle - hog ridaaaa!), Ravagers, Spiders, Sniffers, Turtles, and Wardens.

Grindstones' New Use:
Standing on grindstones will now cause damage to mobs and players.
This can be utilized as an early-game mob grinding alternative to butcher androids.
You probably shouldn't stand on it yourself if you'd like to keep your armor durability.

Farming Buffs:
Sugarcane, cactus, and nether warts can now be fertilized with bonemeal.
Water sources below farmland will now moisturize the crops, ensuring they grow and thrive.

Bow Enchantments:
Mending and Infinity enchants can now coexist on the same bow. Plus, Crossbows can now also have the Infinity enchantment, and it works with spectral arrows!

Curse of Binding:
Curse of Binding enchantment can be removed from players with a weakness potion. You can also scrape it off using a grindstone.
Dispensers will no longer apply cursed armor to equipment slots, a good balance for a KeepInventory Server.

TNT Defusal:
TNT can now be defused by simply right-clicking with shears.

Text and Naming Customization:
Use color code formats with signs and anvil renaming to add a personal touch to your creations.

Blocked Chest Access:
Chests can now be opened even if solid blocks are placed over them. You're welcome!



Other Neat Little Changes:

  • Lapis now stays in the enchanting table.
  • Disabled Observer Redstone Clocks to maintain balance.
  • Exp orbs will merge within a 6-block radius.
  • Exp orbs and dropped items no longer damage turtle eggs.
  • Beds and lodestones will no longer explode.
  • Snowballs can extinguish fire.
  • Eating glow berries will make you glow for a few seconds.
