To protest the SOPA and PIPA bills in US congress, which would drastically change the internet as we know it, I think that tomorrow, January 18, everyone should change their skin to this blacked-out skin. We can't do it today because minecraft.net is down, but when it's back up, I think we should show our support for Mojang and the internet.
