Following the accusations of android involvement in the violent murders of at least 15 people by the serial killer known as "The Virus", many androids and gynoids felt that the time was ripe for a rebellion. These feelings of spite and anger lead to the formation of the terrorist group dubbed "The Synths". The androids and gynoids leading this rebellion are extremely violent, and will stop at nothing to reduce the human population to a cowering few, showing them how what it means to live in fear.
