Today I felt like stepping outside of my door for once. It was a cloudy day, fairly cold. I passed a garden, I've never seen it before. It was full of blossoming yellow blooms, and I couldn't help but feel entranced by it. It was a good day for a stroll, no?
The garden was truly enchanting, the flowers feeling like they glowed. It was hard not to notice each individual petal. That's how I came to find the trail of golden velvet petals. I followed it, after all trails are meant to be followed. Thud. I bumped into a girl, wearing fairly little clothing for the cold day. She had a jacket, tied around her waist, but she didn't wear it. "A-ah. Sorry, I-I wasn't looking where I was going." She stuttered a bit. Perhaps she was shy. It was cute. I had to return the apology, though. "It's alright. I wasn't either". Something about that interaction made me really happy, practically bursting. Flowers blooming, perhaps. That's how the expression goes. We would meet in that same garden many more times.
