Dive into new underwater worlds with Beautiful


Beautiful is a pack I created when I got really interested in Subnautica - and how its nature could look in Minecraft.

Beautiful adds all new kinds of kelp and seagrass, but also improves some things on the surface, such as better flora, plant variations, emissive textures... anthills with moving ants and butterflies on flowers.

It is designed to work with other resource packs, especially 16x16. You also need OptiFine for this pack to work as wonderfully.

Please know that this resource pack is in heavy development. Features will be patched, added, removed. Some things may not work properly. I will try my best to make everything work.

In this update, I doubled down on what makes this pack special, and temporarily removed the unnecessary [cattail, rocks, certain grass variants, etc.].

is this a texture pack or a datapack? if its a texture pack how are you able to change world generation?

It's a resource pack. It doesn't change the world generation - it only replaces specific textures and models for each block of kelp based on biome, height, and other variables. OptiFine is required for this.

i dont really like stones on dirt adn i also have a plant variation resource pack and i think they might be incompatible, how do i remove this features so i can still have the nice oceans :)

The rocks were removed as of the latest update. Flowers I believe should be compatible, if you put your pack above this one in the pack menu. If not, let me know!
