Hello! You may have noticed I have been working on horse textures,

I'm excited to present to you a compilation of my horse textures that will surely bring more variety and make your equines more colourful!
This texture pack actually can be subdivided into several "flavours" I decided to make based on the color genetics, variations and possible preferences towards not only them but markings and white marks as well.
In the PMC download for this texture pack you will find the "Vanilla Flavoured" pack, mainly based on the colors and markings found on the base game, only modified to my texture format and with additional variations for the Optifine users. As stated, this pack will be best enjoyed with Optifine to take full advantage of the texture library.
On the Dropbox link you will see a selection of the other flavours I have planned for this texture pack, so you can decide in which direction you want your horsies looks to go!

The following is a list With the names of the flavours and a brief description of the coat colors you will find on them:
- Vanilla- Based on the vanilla Minecraft colors, with a few additions of variation.
- Strawberry- Red based colors and their variants, also named as sorrel or chestnut, plus a small variety of markings.
- Chocolate- Brown equivalent colors and their variants, in other words bay variants, in the same fashion as the former.
- Dark Chocolate- Predominantly black colors and their variants, and like the former two flavours, an assortment of white markings.
- Cream- Cream diluted colors and their variants, composed like the former flavours.
- Coconut- Pearl diluted colors and their cream interactions, composed like the former as well.
- Salted Caramel- Inspired in the mustang, quarter horse and criolo breeds' common colors, plus western inspired tack and armor.
- Buttescotch- Champagne diluted colors and cream interaction variants with an assortment of white markings.
- Cookie Dough- Colors like in the vanilla flavour, however only paint and dominant white variants of white markings, in other words, piebald and skewbald horses.
- Chocolate Chips- Same as the above, but for leopard complex white markings, showing a great variation of appaloosa markings.
- Amarula- The colors are similar to the vanilla flavour, but in place of donkeys, zebras and quaggas, as well as zebroid hybrids in place of mules.
- Wild Berries- Primitive markings or, in other words, dun dilution variants to make the horses closer to their origins, as well as the donkeys and mules, with the addition of mainly leopard complex markings.
- Black Forest- Silver dapple dillution variations and interactions plus an assortment of white markings.
- Pistachio- A collection of my favourite colors and markings, most likely, this is the flavour I am currently using in my game.
- Mascarpone- Gray mutated colors and some other forms of white or nearly white coat colors, composed like the former.
- Peanut Butter- Odd colors and markings, overall just a collection of curious and exotic markings and coats.
- Shaved Ice- Primitive wild horse and donkey colors and markings, made to ressemble prehistoric wild equids.
- Bubblegum- Fantasy colors, basically, multi colored horses from (almost) every color of the rainbow and fantastical markings.
- Mint- Pastel colors and muted tones for all things horse, aswell as some cottagecore themes here and there.
- Tutti Frutti- A mix of a little bit of everything, this may be the most image heavy flavour, so it may act a bit funky (I'll test and see how it runs on my game).
Notice that the flavour relating to wild equines variations will have biome dependant textures but you will be able to use nametags to turn mostly donkeys and mules into their wilder relatives.
I may end up making a separate pack just for the wild colours so you can use it with other flavours, however, I'm keeping the planned colours as they are.
