-Harkenburg Texture Pack-

The Harkenburg Texture Pack is unlike any texture pack you have ever seen. Through its wide range of textures designed to cater to the avid city builder, Harkenburg Texture Pack is made to completely transform the way you build a city. Instead of focusing on pure realism, Harkenburg Texture Pack is in 16x resolution, which is the same resolution as default Minecraft. Unlike some other hyper HD modern texture packs, Harkenburg will give your builds a familiar default feel, while also giving you a much needed block palette improvement. Unlike any other texture pack available now, Harkenburg allows you to add realistic and convincing roads into your city, all without the use of mods. Even the smallest of details, like paintings* being textured as city themed images and visuals, was not overlooked. Harkenburg's wide range of architectural themed blocks - from bricks to tiles to windows, was created with building in mind.

As always, I love to hear suggestions and ideas. If you'd like to share an idea for a new block, or perhaps you have a suggestion to make, Harkenburg now has it's own Discord Server where you can do just that!

Pack Status - 1.16 is out! I eagerly await 1.17

* a bug exists in 1.16 within the render engine that no longer renders paintings transparent. This messes up a good deal of Harkenburg's paintings, this is why I'm so eager for 1.17 to come out, hopefully they fix it!

V3.4 (The Never Ever Nether Update!) : 07/09/2020 2:15:19 pmJul 9th

Sometimes I get into something and I just keep going. For this update that definitely happened. My goal here was to shoot for getting the pack updated and ready to go right on the same day 1.16 was released. Whelp, as you can see that didn't happen. I got all the 1.16 blocks done, along with a lot of remaining 1.15 blocks, but I was unsatisfied. So I went back and really chewed through all those things that had been bugging me for a long time. And I do mean a LONG time. Because of that, the changelog for this update is absolutely massive, and it took about 3 weeks longer than I had hoped for. But to say the least I am super happy with how this update has turned out, and I think you guys will be too. As always, I'll be hanging down in the comments section and in the packs Discord Server if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Hope all you guys and gals enjoy!

when I download the texture pack, it says that the pack was intended for an older version of Minecraft. When I played it, it seemed that the texture pack was made for 1.13. Why is this happening?

The current supported version I have users downloading is for Minecraft 1.15. What Minecraft version are you trying to play on? If you need a download for 1.13, there is a section in the description on here that lists all the previous versions I have for older Minecraft versions. I no longer provide updates to them though.

Hi, im actually playing minecraft with this pack but the horses, mules etc are bugged and invisible for me, i can barely see some parts of them and pieces of chests, It's a bit annoying...
if someone knows how i can fix that,

This is a very late reply, but either tonight or tomorrow, I am going to be releasing the 1.15 version of the pack. This new version will fix that issue. So sorry for the very late reply!

This is a cool resource pack. I know it's been a while since this was updated but can I suggest some additions?

  • Tripwire hook replaced with taps model for sinks/baths/showers
  • More painting types for interior paintings
  • If possible, minecarts more closely resemble modern trains

Hey sorry for the late reply. Glowstone looks more like a flouresent light and the sea lanterns look more simplified and more like a generic light. Other than that there isn't any other light textures. Ofc if minecraft adds another light source in I will probably do that.

ye thanks it's working now, I was wondering tho if you add different kinds of dogs (like german sheppards, collies, ect) for my minecraft role play I've been trying to get a texture pack for dogs but they're all outdated :D

That's honestly the best and only idea I've ever gotten for it lol. But do you mean like some random optifine textures because that's the only way I know of to get many different textures. And too the pack already has some so it wouldn't be much of a jump. Do you have any other dog species besides the German Shepard and a collie?

I'm so happy you think it's a good idea, I feel like it would make a city feel more realistic rather than just seeing the regular wolf around. I have so many dog breeds, so I already said German Shepard and collie but you could also have Dalmatian, border collie, Labrador (golden, black and chocolate), golden retriever, chihuahua, pug, Australian cattle dog, husky, pit-bull, beagle, Rottweiler, Bernese mountain dog and grey hound just to name a few XD sorry

I'll test to see how exactly it works I think I have a general idea already. But once I do I'll do a German Shepard, collie, golden retreaver, a pug, and the default wolf. Hopefully I can keep it that only once you tame the wolves they show the different dogs. But I'll try to get this update out faster that way you can get working on your roleplay

Yep there is a giant flat screen tv painting and a toilet for a damaged anvil and the furnace is a oven. For a sink I'd recommend a cauldron
