Have you ever wanted to have a communion service in Minecraft but never had the appropriate furniture for it? Ever wanted to have liturgical banners on the walls of your Minecraft church sanctuary? Well, look no further! We think that our new resource pack is perfect for you!
Pastor Tre Riley and the members of The New Grace Institutional Missionary Baptist Church of Minecraft proudly introduces to the Minecraft Java Edition community... The New Grace Resurrection Sunday Resource Pack!
Resource Pack Showcase:
This is our second furniture line resource pack. The New Grace Resurrection Sunday Resource Pack adds 3D blocks of communion furniture items that you would find in a Baptist, African Methodist Episcopal Church, Church of God in Christ (COGIC), Apostolic, Full Gospel, Catholic, or Non-denominational church. Dramatic skies were added to this resource pack to further enhance the experience of your Minecraft worship services. You will see a realistic sun, clouds, and dynamic lighting during your morning services. You can even have evening services under a realistic moon and stars!
List of furniture items included:
•A dark oak wood communion table with the words from 1 Corinthians 11:24 "This Do In Remembrance Of Me" engraved at the top. At the front of the table, there is an African-American art print by Johnny Myers featuring a Black Jesus Christ and his disciples during the Last Supper (replaces the birch fence gate in your inventory)
•Brass stacked communion trays with 32-hole inserts for cups. It's carefully designed to be shaped in a circle (replaces the Acacia fence gate in your inventory)
• A brass cross, candle, and cup communion table set. The cross in the set stands atop a three-tier base that represents Jesus getting up from the grave on the 3rd Day (replaces the jungle fence gate in your inventory)
• A liturgical banner that can be dyed in different color combinations using the dyes in your inventory. It was made this way because the color of liturgical banners can change from time to time based on the seasons in the Christian calendar. (replaces the creeper banner design in the loom)
The communion table can serve additional functions besides communion. It can be a place to display a Bible or flowers and a receptacle to collect offerings. It can even be a temporary fixture or a permanent fixture that will be an impressive and wonderful complement to your Minecraft worship facility. These furniture items are intended for creative players and none of them require a recipe. None of these items are longer or taller than 3 blocks. They serve no functionality other than decoration and aesthetics and they cannot be interacted with for now.

•Communion is very SACRED. Do not use this resource pack for any comedic reason or in a way that does not align with our Christian beliefs.
•This resource pack is not fully compatible with our other packs.
•Plans are being made for a Bedrock and Pocket Edition version of the resource pack.

What is communion or the Lord's supper and what is the purpose behind it?
On the night before Jesus died, Jesus shared a final meal with his disciples. During the meal, Jesus gave to his disciples, for all time, this special way of remembering him. Jesus gave new meaning to two elements: bread and wine. About the bread, Jesus said, “This is my body” (Matthew 26:26 NIV). About the wine, he said, “This is my blood of the new covenant” (Matthew 26:28 NIV).
He gave the bread and wine to his disciples and told them to keep sharing these elements as a way to remember him and all he had done. (1 Corinthians 11:24). Communion is a time when we are to remember the Lord and thank Him for His sacrifice. It's not just a normal meal where the focus is on the food.
-We are to look back on what Christ accomplished for us on the cross.
-We are to look ahead and do this "until he comes again" as the scriptures say.
-We are to look within because our self-examination is an important part of receiving communion. Communion should not be taken in an unworthy manner. We must search our hearts asking God to reveal any sin that may be found within us, so that we can confess it to Him, and ask for forgiveness. To fail to do so and then to take part in communion is to eat and drink damnation to yourself.
(1 Corinthians 11:24-30 NIV)
Communion is also an ideal time to make a commitment or recommitment to Jesus Christ.
