A resource pack that makes the world appear snowy!

Sister pack to Y'all It's Fall!!
Also available for Bedrock Edition!

Features:
  • Grass Blocks become snowy regardless of whether or not they're under a snow block.
  • Ground cover and other foliage also becomes snowy.
  • The backs of Sniffers and other mossy mobs become snowy.
Known Issues:
  • The particles for certain leaf blocks are tinted green under certain circumstances. This is fixed with Polytone.
  • Short Grass and other bits of foliage make snow sounds due to limitations in Java Edition.
  • Actual snowfall is still exclusive to snowy biomes due to limitations in resource packs.

3 Update Logs

v3.0.0 : by Cornbread_Alphanumeric 12/14/2025 11:30:43 pmDecember 15, 2025 @ 4:30 am UTC

Bug Fixes
  • The bottoms of Grass Blocks no longer rotate when snow is placed or removed from on top of it. (Vanilla issue)
  • Vines and Lily Pads are no longer tinted green in item form in game versions from 1.20.2 to 1.21.3.
General Changes
  • Pack now reads as compatible with game versions from 1.21.5 to 1.21.11.
  • Bushes now appear snowy instead of gray.
  • Wildflowers' stems now match Pink Petals' stems like they do in vanilla (made them use the same texture).
  • The stems of Pink Petals and Wildflowers are no longer subject to block face dimming, making them more consistent with other cross models. Instead they use a pre-tinted texture that appears more accurate to Bedrock Edition.
  • Changed Leaf Litter colors. They are now lighter but more saturated.
  • Falling leaf particles now appear snowy like the leaves they come from.
  • Pack now affects flowers with pre-colored stems (poppies, peonies, etcetera), including the item forms of Pink Petals and Wildflowers, intentionally excluding Sniffer flowers. They are now a cold bluish color.
  • Leaves and small flowers now use the same mipmap strategies as in vanilla in game version 1.21.11.
  • Removed the Trails and Tales panorama.
  • Grass Blocks no longer use the snowy texture from Cornbread's Texture Fixer.
  • Sniffer Spawn Eggs now appear snowy like Sniffers themselves do.
  • The moss growing on the Bogged and their Spawn Eggs is now a cold bluish color.
  • Creepers and their Spawn Eggs have figured out how to imitate snow.
Requires Polytone
  • The particles for Birch Leaves, Spruce Leaves, and Lily Pads are no longer tinted green.
  • The particles for Oak, Dark Oak, Jungle, Acacia, and Mangrove leaves; Short Grass, Ferns, Tall Grass, Large Ferns, Sugar Canes, and Vines are no longer tinted green in certain biomes.
  • Water now uses its colors from the Bedrock Edition release of the pack. Pack does not include the vanilla Bedrock Edition water colors.
Technical Changes
  • Moved all block textures that were in "textures/block/cb_snowy/" back to "textures/block/", removing unnecessary model files.
  • Removed some item files that weren't necessary.
  • Rerendered a bunch of textures, making their file size smaller.

Level 1 : New Miner
We totally need a Y'all It's Spring and Y'all It's Summer, with flowery bits and stuff for spring, and just a refreshed feel of default for Summer! I would totally pay for those packs.

there were actually already a few older versions of Y'all It's Fall on bedrock edition that had spring and summer subpack options, which you can use by clicking the secondary download button (currently labeled 'mediafire', but i'll probably change it to say 'version archive' soon).

i have no intention of bringing these back for the same reason i removed them in the first place: they are simply far too similar to vanilla for me to feel like they were worth the time they took to develop or download. you can try porting them to java edition if you decide you like them, though.
