Ladders in Minecraft are very dull. They don't even have a model! It's time for an upgrade!
This adds many, new, high-quality ladders to the game! The ladders will change based on biome. Optifine's Connected Textures feature is required.

Biomes:
There are 79 biomes in the game. If you need to know where these ladders are supposed to appear, then unzip the pack. You will find a spreadsheet with all the info you need.

Anyway, I was able to do an official test on the pack and found a bunch of errors. Two of them were just silly oversights, but the rest appear to be Optifine's weight system not working.
What do you do when weights don't work? You remove them. Every texture set now has a specific biome and altitude range assigned for 0% conflicts.
However, something is preventing Forge from seeing Optifine in my game. I mean, Forge literally can't detect Optifine. Forge doesn't even see Optifine as a bad mod! It's like Optifine isn't even there. Both Forge and Optifine are still in beta for 1.16, so that could be my problem.
Meanwhile, the pack update should be ready to go. I was able to use work arounds to test some stuff, but that isn't as good as the real thing. I'll leave a link to the latest update. Let me know how it goes.
Also, I have absolutely no clue what the difference is between those two settings.
