Server listing is not able to be verified if the server is running with TCPShield.
I started using TCPShield to hide my machine's IP address. In the process of this, I had to change the IP that votifier directs to in the backend of the listing.
This meant that I needed to re-verify the server listing. So when I clicked "check my server's MOTD for the code", it said that the code changed even though the code supplied to me was the same one in my MOTD.
This is an issue for all TCPShield users. If this could be fixed it would be nice.
If your server uses the same IPs, then we can't really validate that it's not a spammer trying to post duplicate servers.
We did do the adjustments Cyprezz mentioned, but if it's still not working it's probably a firewall on your end or the proxy not returning the MOTD properly.
other server listing sites don't seem to have a problem with this though. Would it be possible to just completely verify my server since it's obviously not a duplicate? I can verify it in other ways. Furthermore, TCPShield is a very commonly used DDoS-protection software among high-playercount servers, so you're essentially limiting big servers from putting their servers on this website.
set status to In Progress, assigned Developers/Administrators. We are planning to change our verification process in the future. I'm not sure of the ETA on it yet.
