Most people, when they would like to look up a user's profile, usually can't be bothered going to the "members" section and doing a search there - they will most likely just enter that user's name into the "Search Planet Minecraft" bar on the home page and expect the profile to show up just like on pretty much every other website in the world. So my suggestion would be to acutually make it show up along with some information about the member, e.g. level, amount of subscribers and submissions etc.

If I recall correctly people that aren't logged in can't even access the "member" section, which makes it quite impossible for them to find a member's profile - unless of course that particular member added their name to their submissions as a tagword.
