Mi suggestion about the skin editor is to give to the 2D mode a proper "Hand Tool" to so anyone can move the canvas anywhere and then have en enhanced control of the coloring. Obviously, this movement has to be limitated, so everyone won't want to have a lost canvas as a result o moving it very far far away.
