A big frustration for me and many other content creators on PMC is that the file name always becomes completely messed up upon uploading something. This is a big part of why many people use external file hosting services like Mediafire, which have the annoying side effect of inconveniencing people who want to download the submission.

I doubt there would be much difficulty in making a small change that would be a great QOL improvement on this site. All that needs to be done is:

• Allow spaces (don't change them to dashes; they're really ugly)
  
• Allow capital letters - it just makes it seem much more tidy and professional
• Allow section signs (§), which are needed for Minecraft colour codes, which significantly improve the aesthetic of a pack in the pack menu
• While this may be more technically difficult, it would be nice if the e<numbers> wasn't added to the end of dowloaded packs, because it looks awful. However, if it can't be added and the above points can, §7e<numbers> should be added to the end instead, to make it more subtle in-game

Overall this would be a small but very effective change, I hope you take it into consideration :)

as a side note, it was hell trying to format the bullet points in this ticket properly, perhaps that could be fixed too?
