Layering options for PMCSkin3D

Planet Minecraft has a great skin editor, probably the best I've ever used. However, it's missing one key thing: Layering options.
Lots of skin editors have this option such as NovaSkin and MinersNeedCoolShoes, but it can be a hassle switching from PMCSkin3D to an alternative editor.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's some pictures to help.

This could make it real easier to combine skins to create something new.
For example, if I have a really cool armor base I haven't used on a skin that I made and really like, I can just pop those skins into the editor and make adjustments if needed! It removes the problems of going to PMCSkin3D to modify the skins, NovaSkin or another editor to actually apply the two skins, and then BACK to PMCSkin3D to make finishing touches. It'll just be more convenient. Thoughts?
