This morning, I was trying to manage my submissions but was finding it hard with the extremely limited tools and info us PMC creators have. I feel like this should be changed, so that we have more control over our projects and access to more information. For example, counting analytics over out projects should be made easier for us, instead of having to count up the views on all our projects manually. I decided to expand on this idea, so I created this concept drawing for what it could look like:
This diagram has useful tools and features that PMC is lacking in. Although most of this information can be found manually, that takes a long time and a new dashboard like this could help us creators understand when the hotspots for activity are. For example, if we know that the highest amount of downloads happens on a Thursday at 2pm, we can publish our projects in line with that. For those who want to know more, here is another image with annotations
(I spent 5 hours on that, don’t judge me)
As you can see, this idea has many uses and could fit in PMC nicely. My diagrams are drawn in dark mode, but light mode would be available too of course. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and comment your feedback down below. And if you liked the idea, feel free to upvote it :D
