As it is now, I think that PMC groups are a bit confusing. Any submission made to a group looks as though it is credited to the group itself. For example, this skin appears at first glance to be made by a member named "SSPBL". I only figured out who the real author was by navigating to the submission page, and my eyes skipped over the label styled username several times before I noticed it. On the front page and search pages, where most users would view it, there is no indication that this skin is made by Allergy_Man. The I think that the visual hierarchy of information could be adjusted to make it more intuitive. I would really like to have seen that skin displayed on Allergy_Man's submission gallery, too. Knowing that there can be skins made by Allergy_Man that aren't shown in Allergy_Man's gallery, it feels as if there is a whole bunch of content I'm missing out on. Would I have also missed it in my subscriptions feed if I didn't know about the SSPBL group?

My suggestion is for the way PMC groups handle submissions to be more similar to DeviantArt's groups.

• When viewing the front page, or the content gallery of a group, the username of the original creator should be displayed under the submission preview instead of the group name.
• On the submission page, the username of the creator should take visual precedence over the group name. Maybe the appearance of groups could be more similar to collections?
• XP should be credited to the creator. The group can still make self posts under the group identity and receive XP for it. Group XP level should be determined some other way, possibly from some combination of self posts and group member count.
• It might also be possible to include a submission in more than one group, like DeviantArt does, and like how a submission can be included in multiple collections.
