Improved Polls on Forums

The poll system on forums could use an update, and I have multiple suggestions:
  1. Add an option so that you can see the results once you have personally voted. This makes it so that you can see results without waiting, but your vote can't be altered by what you see others voting for. This option could either be added to the choice to make results visible before the poll ends, or it could replace that option entirely.
  2. Allow for more poll choices. The current limit is 10 choices per poll. 10 is generally enough, but not always, and when it isn't, there is really no good solution other than typing your options as well as "vote in comments".
  3. Allow more polls per forum post. this is not a big problem, but it would occasionally be useful.
  4. Add multiple choice polls. These would be polls where you select more than one answer. This could have options for the poll creator to set the minimum and maximum number of selections to vote. It could also collect more advanced information such as what combinations are most common rather that just each individual option.
  5. Add more options for how to display the results. All the polls are currently displayed in a pie chart. It would be nice to have other choices such as a bar graph to see each option individually or a line graph to see how results developed over time. This could be a setting when creating the poll or it could be an option for each user to see results how they want.
I hope you consider some of these.
