We had done this on MCF really just once, and we found that it was not too bad. The issue is the time that goes into the organization of such a thing (and we never actually gave the reward out to the 'MVP', even though we said we would). We've wanted to do more, but we've not had the time really.

I think doing it occasionally would be nice, as long as it's broken down on things, such as chat mods, forum, and site.

It's still a popularity contest, but I can also say from a management view, that information is useful, especially when it is open-ended.

I think for running a business its healthy to have competition but in a non-profit organization such as PMC its not very necessary. For the only reward is a brief mention of your name. Also would be hard there are a lot of mods if im correct, a real lot

What Azie said basically. Being a mod is not about being popular.

I don't think this is necessary and I think it would create some unnecessary competition between our team members. We already have ways of guaging activity/reports handled/etc. internally for determining when someone needs to be demoted for inactivity, so I don't think this adds anything contructive to our dynamic as a group.
