while the reddit inspired reply threads in the new forum have their clear advantages, the feed based default front page of the forum is simply a contemporary social media mess.
the table of contents view on the other hand is a well stuctured forum view the way it has been working and continually slightly improved over the past decades.
still, i understand if there are users that prefer it.
so please add an option for users to choose which of the forum views available in the dropdown menu comes up by default
