I'm a somewhat serious PMC'er (I really enjoy the website!) and so if I favor something (click "Favorite") then I don't do this on a whim. For me it goes from: emerald -> diamond -> favorite. (though in all fairness the last two are often used together).

I have a favorite widget on my profile page and that adds to my favorite usage because I also know that favored items will appear there (and I even got a few subscribers!).

Unfortunately this doesn't apply to forum threads, even though we can click favorite. So I was wondering if it would be doable / feasible to make them appear in the box as well. It wouldn't matter if it doesn't have an avatar to display, even a text entry would suffice. It would simply give that post a bit more exposure, which I think is what both the diamond and favorite options are for.
