Hello everyone! Today, I'll teach you how to make a tutorial that will be useful to everyone who reads it!
Step 1: Find a topic.
This is a very important step! You need to do a tutorial on something that might be confusing to some, and easy for others. If there has just been an update, make a tutorial about using or crafting a recently added item or mob. If not, then try something that is difficult to learn, like brewing potions, or how to survive your first day.
Step 2: Write out every single detail.
When writing a tutorial, you must remember to be specific enough to where the reader will understand completely what you're trying to say. Don't just say, "put thing on horse", because the reader won't understand what the "thing" is. Instead, say, "Put the saddle on the pig." That way, it will be much easier for the reader to comprehend. If you need a way to see if the tutorial is specific enough, try read the entire thing through the reader's point of view. Would you understand the instructions clearly enough? If not, then revise until you know that you've gone through every single detail.
Step 3: Check for grammar.
Grammar is the most important thing in any blog post! You need to make sure that you can understand everything you wrote, so that the reader can understand everything you wrote as well. A bad example might be something like, "u put dis insid teh hoper". No, that's very bad. A good example is something like, "You then put the seeds inside the hopper." See how much clearer and easier to understand it is? That's the power of grammar.
Step 4: Matching the title to the topic.
Once you're done with revising and editing, you're ready to post this blog! But before you do that, you'll have to give it a title. Don't trick people into reading something else for views, because that will just make people angry. If the tutorial is about breeding chickens, then the title should be, "How to Breed Chickens in Minecraft", not "How to Install Texture Packs on Mac". You might think it'll be funny when you make the title different from the topic, but you won't be laughing when you get loads of unhappy comments and only 1 diamond. Sometimes, people just want to get things done.
Now that you have taken care of everything in your tutorial, you can post it and watch as thankful players can learn a thing or two from you. A tutorial might not seem like much, but some people will be very, very happy to learn something new.
